Trump Turnberry, Scotland

I would ideally give 4.5 stars. I won’t use space on good points. The most notable error was our difficulty first of all in securing dinner in 1906. We were told it was booked out and we would be seated in the lounge. On arrival we negotiated that we would be in the ballroom as this was suggested when we discussed in person. This was then changed back to 1906 which in the end turned out to be empty for most of the night. How bizarre and it caused unnecessary stress because 1906 was empty after all - quite different from the story we received on the Thursday prior when we called to book a table. Felt very disorganised. Very nice staff however. The second issue was that I booked a “villa room”. I didn’t realise it wouldn’t be in the hotel itself. I felt it was slightly misleading. Kind staff managed to change it to the hotel on the day,

I have stayed at Trump Turnberry a few times and can honestly say it is a truly brilliant experience every time I visit, this time more so with my partner sharing my birthday we will definitely be back again thank you and all your staff for making it special Mark.

Hotel very good - in room service was very disappointing - however after waiting an hour for it (and them turning up with a tray and forgetting the food) we were too hungry to send it back. Other than that, the experience of the hotel was fantastic.
